Thank you for sharing this. It was a timely reminder that our opinions, traditions, and personal preferences must always be tested against the truth of God's Word. The Bible is our final authority, not the changing opinions of men. As Isaiah 55:8–9 reminds us, God's thoughts and ways are far higher than ours. Proverbs 3:5–6 teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. Jesus prayed in John 17:17, Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. Paul also exhorted Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:16–17 that all Scripture is God-breathed and equips us for every good work. May we always have humble hearts that are willing to set aside our own opinions whenever they conflict with God's Word. Lord, help us to be people who love the truth, live the truth, and boldly proclaim the truth in love. God bless you for this encouraging reminder.
